The City of Adams in Tenn. is now equipped to meet tomorrow’s connectivity needs with the recent completion of a project extending reliable, high-speed Internet access. Nearly 600 residents in the area have access to the company’s full suite of Xfinity services. Businesses and local government buildings also have access to Comcast Business’s full range of services, including Internet speeds of up to 100 gigabits per second (Gbps). 

Services Available 

Comcast offers the following Xfinity services to residential customers across its footprint: 

  • Xfinity Internet, which offers speeds up to 2 gigabits per second, advanced WiFi gateways, and powerful WiFi Boost Pods that can extend coverage to every corner of customers’ homes.  
  • Xfinity Mobile, which carries a variety of new mobile phone models, devices and accessories and offers flexible data plans – Unlimited or By the Gigabyte – that fit customers’ unique needs. 
  • Xfinity X1, which offers live TV, sports, music, and streaming apps. can be controlled using Xfinity’s award-winning Voice Remote. Through Xfinity StreamSaver, customers can bundle Peacock, Netflix and Apple TV+ and save money. 
  • Xfinity Home, the company’s home security and automation solution.  
  • Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity, which offers Xfinity Internet customers a 4K streaming device, at no additional monthly cost. The Xumo Stream Box brings together the best of live TV and streaming into one simple, intuitive experience.  

Residents in the service area now have access to Comcast’s Internet Essentials program, the nation’s largest and most successful broadband adoption initiative for low-income households, available in the service areas. Internet Essentials provides low-cost broadband service for $9.95 a month, digital literacy training and discounted computers. 

Additionally, the company offers NOW, a new brand of quality, low-cost Internet, mobile and streaming TV products that customers can purchase month-to-month, whenever they want. Bundling Xfinity’s new NOW Internet and NOW Mobile can bring connectivity to families with one of the most affordable unlimited plans on the market starting as low as $55 a month for bundled NOW Internet and Mobile,
