Comcast to Open Xfinity Retail Store in West Ashley

New interactive store designed to enhance customer experience

(Charleston, SC): Oct. 12, 2021 – Comcast announced today the Oct. 13 opening of its newest Xfinity store in West Ashley, S.C. The store is designed to allow customers to experience the latest Xfinity services and handle account-related tasks such as signing up for new services or exchanging equipment.

The new store features multiple counters staffed by Xfinity sales consultants and displays that illustrate all the features of Xfinity’s full range of products and services, including Xfinity Internet, Xfinity X1, Xfinity Mobile, Xfinity Voice, and Xfinity Home products. The latest mobile devices from Apple, Google, Motorola and Samsung, as well as wireless accessories, are available for purchase at the store.

In addition, customers can pay bills, get answers to account-related questions and swap out their equipment. They can also schedule appointments online ahead of time by using the Xfinity Store Locator to find the nearest store and selecting the “Book Appointment” button.

“We’ve made it easier than ever for our customers to test drive the latest Xfinity products and services in our new Xfinity store in West Ashley,” said Jason Gumbs, Comcast’s Regional Senior Vice President. “The opening of this new retail center is part of our larger national effort to enhance the customer experience.”

To support social distancing needs, Comcast has increased its store appointment capacity and added the option to check-in for an appointment virtually from outside the store. Customers that are fully vaccinated do not have to wear a face mask unless otherwise required by federal, state or local municipality mandates.

The new Xfinity Store is located at 1850 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., and will be open seven days a week. Store hours are Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m.
