“Comcast Cares Day” Spring Clean Events Rescheduled for Saturday, April 29 in Nashville
WHAT: Comcast Cares Day, which takes place each April during National Volunteer Month, is Comcast NBCUniversal’s companywide celebration of their year-round commitment to service and the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer effort in the country.
Due to severe weather on Saturday, April 22, Comcast’s signature Spring Clean volunteer project with Mayor Megan Barry and the City of Nashville was postponed. Comcast has rescheduled two of the clean-up projects for this Saturday, April 29. Metro Nashville Public Works volunteers will also be joining Comcast employees, family members and friends at the rescheduled events.
Cleanup Project 1: Napier Place

Project Description:
Volunteers will help spruce up the area surrounding Napier Place. Activities will include picking up litter and debris, and overall beautification efforts.
Cleanup Project 2: Adventure Science Center
Date: Saturday, 4/29/17
Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Location: Adventure Science Center, 800 Fort Negley Boulevard, Nashville, TN 37203
Project Description:
This site will focus on the clean-up of the streets and alleys around the Adventure Science Center. Additional volunteer projects will include beautifying the picnic table area and landscaping.
