(Atlanta, GA) – Jan. 30, 2017 – Comcast has named Michelle Pluskota Vice President of Business Services, reporting directly to Regional SVP Doug Guthrie. Ms. Pluskota will be based in Atlanta and oversee all of Comcast’s business services operations throughout the eight-state southeast region.
“Michelle brings to Comcast a unique blend of experience, dedication and leadership that will be a perfect complement to our growing organization,” said Mr. Guthrie. “She is a proven leader who has enjoyed great individual and team success throughout her career, and we look forward to her contributions in this new role.”
Ms. Pluskota previously served as Vice President of Business Services in Comcast’s Heartland region, where she led an organization of more than 200 employees across their three-state footprint, which consists of Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan.
Under her leadership in this role, Ms. Pluskota’s organization routinely exceeded performance objectives for growing customer relationships and sales productivity. She earned two President’s Club honors at Comcast, the highest performance award within the organization.
She has also been celebrated by industry and media organizations. In 2012, she was named to the prestigious list of Women in Cable Leaders to Watch, and was recently named one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ Top 100 Most Influential Women.
Ms. Pluskota has a Bachelor of Applied Science from Oregon State University.
