Comcast Unveils New Xfinity Customer Retail Center in Tupelo, Miss.
Birthplace of Comcast celebrated as latest example of customer experience improvements
Tupelo, Miss. – October 25, 2016: Comcast announced today the opening of its new Xfinity Customer Center in Tupelo, Miss. The new 5,000-square-foot store at 4368 Mall Drive will offer customers hands-on access to Comcast’s high-speed Internet, advanced video, digital voice, and Xfinity Home security products.
The enhanced retail center is the first of its kind to be added in Tupelo, and is part of a broader national effort to positively transform how customers do business with Comcast.
The new location features seven service counters, interactive iPad product demonstrations, and dedicated areas that showcase Comcast’s suite of products and apps. It also offers customers payment kiosks for automated bill payments and on-site staff that can facilitate equipment transactions.
“As the birthplace of Comcast, Tupelo holds a special place in our company’s long and storied history,” said Comcast Regional SVP Doug Guthrie. “We look forward to serving customers in our new retail center in the years ahead.”
The new location is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
