South Knoxville Celebrates the Grand Opening of Xfinity Store, Elevating Local Tech Accessibility and Community Connectivity

State Leaders, Community Partners in Tennessee Join Ribbon Cutting Event

Comcast is proud to announce the grand opening of our newest Xfinity Store located at 4409 Chapman Highway in South Knoxville. Local dignitaries, Comcast executives, and community partners came together for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking another milestone in its commitment to connect communities throughout Tennessee.

The new store is designed to provide an immersive and modern retail experience, offering customers a convenient location to learn more about Xfinity’s full suite of products and services, including Internet, mobile, TV, and home security.

During the event, guests explored interactive displays and product demonstrations showcasing Comcast’s latest innovations, including Xfinity Mobile and streaming solutions. Store visitors also had the chance to speak directly with representatives about affordable connectivity options like Internet Essentials, Comcast’s signature digital equity program for low-income households.

 “Connectivity is critical to education, work, and daily life,” said State Representative Sam McKenzie. “Comcast’s investment in South Knoxville means more families will have access to the resources they need to thrive in today’s digital world.”

The company operates more than 51,500 miles of fiber-rich network across Tennessee, including 4,000 WiFi hotspots in the Metro Knoxville area. The South Knoxville store is open seven days a week and offers customers the ability to sign up for service, make equipment exchanges, get product support, and explore the latest technology offerings.
