What began as a festive afternoon of games, music, and prizes turned into an unforgettable moment when Comcast leaders surprised every child in attendance with the gift of a brand-new laptop—part of a broader commitment to support Little Brothers and Little Sisters in BBBSMA’s Cobb, Cherokee, Douglas, and Paulding (CCDP) region.

“Our partnership with Comcast is a great example of what’s possible when we come together to support the next generation.”

“This was more than a giveaway—it was a statement,” said Pierre Gaither, Chief Operating Officer of BBBSMA. “It was a moment that said, ‘We see you. We believe in you. Your potential deserves investment.’ Our partnership with Comcast is a great example of what’s possible when we come together to support the next generation.”

The surprise was part of Comcast’s Project UP, a $1 billion initiative to connect people to the internet, create digital opportunity, and build a future of unlimited possibilities. For many of the youth served by BBBSMA, access to reliable technology is a barrier to academic success. Comcast’s gift represents a direct investment in their futures.

“Technology and digital access are essential for educational success and supporting organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta is another way that Comcast invests in the future of our community.”
