Comcast Hosts Basketball Rivalry Watch Party in Downtown Knoxville

Comcast Business representatives excited to answer attendee's questions at the basketball watch party.

Comcast successfully hosted an exciting watch party at XUL Beer Company, a Comcast Business (CB) customer, for the historic basketball rivalry between the University of Tennessee Volunteers (#5) and the University of Kentucky Wildcats (#15). The event brought together sports fans, community members, and Comcast representatives for an evening of fun, food, and entertainment.

The watch party featured complimentary burgers for the first 75 attendees, thanks to Xfinity’s partnership with CB customer, Abridged Burger Co. The Xfinity mobile pop-up truck was on-site, offering branded giveaways and opportunities to chat with sales consultants about Xfinity’s fast and reliable Internet and Mobile services. Also, Comcast Business representatives joined the watch party to answer any questions on how customers can elevate their businesses with CB products and services.

Comcast has established a robust network in Tennessee, with over 51,500 miles of fiber-rich infrastructure and more than 4,000 Wi-Fi hotspots in the metro Knoxville area. This advanced network enables Comcast to offer innovative services, exceptional customer experiences, and gigabit+ Internet speeds, making Knoxville a “Gigabit+ City.” Additionally, Comcast has created Wi-Fi-connected “Lift Zones” at 10 community centers in and around Knoxville, providing safe spaces for students and families to access the internet for distance learning, homework, digital skill development, and job searches.

The watch party also highlighted Comcast’s new Sports & News TV package, which brings together live news, top sporting events, and hit movies and shows for Xfinity Internet customers, ensuring that Vols fans never miss a play.
