Network Expansion Brings Increased Xfinity and Comcast Business Services to Residents and Businesses

To Commemorate the Expansion, Comcast Hosted a Groundbreaking Ceremony with Madison County Officials

Comcast is working to connect thousands of new homes and businesses in Madison County, Miss. to reliable, high-speed Internet. It’s happening because the company is expanding its network to the region, enhancing digital infrastructure, promoting economic growth, and positioning residents and local businesses for success in an increasingly digital world.

  • The network expansion brings, for the first time, Internet, mobile and security services from Xfinity and Comcast Business to residents and businesses.
  • The project is estimated to be completed by the end of 2025, but the first several hundred residents will have services available by the end of 2024.

The expansion is made possible by a $4.8 million grant from Madison County, a $4.9 million grant from the State of Mississippi and a $7.6 million investment from Comcast.
