Comcast has connected more than 2,000 new homes and businesses in Woodbury, Tenn. to reliable, high-speed Internet by expanding its network to the region, enhancing digital infrastructure, promoting economic growth, and positioning residents and local businesses for success in an increasingly digital world. The network expansion brings Internet, mobile, and security services from Xfinity and Comcast Business to residents and businesses for the first time.

Comcast’s investments in its network and services in Woodbury will have a significant, positive impact on the lives of our residents and businesses,” said Andy Duggin, Mayor of Woodbury. “In addition, Comcast can help close the digital divide in Woodbury through its Internet Essentials program, which provides low-cost Internet service to eligible low-income households.” 

Comcast’s most recent expansion to Woodbury is part of the company’s latest investment in Tenn., which also includes expansions to Niota, Adams, Parrottsville, Jamestown and Grimsley.
