We are happy to report the majority of our customers are now back online. As cleanup work continues in Savannah and Charleston, there could be isolated outages. Our techs will continue to work rapidly to ensure every customer has their services restored.

Additionally, Xfinity offers solutions like Storm-Ready WiFi to help keep your family connected during unexpected weather occurrences.

We send a heartfelt thank you to our teams on the ground in Georgia and South Carolina for their hard work and dedication and to our customers for their understanding during and post-storm.

Wednesday, August 7 @ 10:30 a.m.

Our teams of technicians are ready to tackle any damage to our network resulting from Tropical Storm Debby. Due to Debby’s torrential rainfall, many streets in and around Savannah and Charleston are currently closed or partially blocked. The road closures caused by the catastrophic flooding along with storm-related debris may cause delays to our repairs as our crews will have to wait until these areas are cleared, declared safe by local authorities and power is restored. We thank you for your understanding as we work with local utilities and authorities.

All of our Xfinity retail locations are open again and operating with normal business hours.

We know how important the internet is to receive the latest news and to keep in touch with loved ones, particularly during and after an emergency situation. To aid connectivity during this time, we’ve opened over 23,000 public Xfinity WiFi hotspots for everyone to use. Whether you’re an Xfinity customer or not, these WiFi hotspots are free and available. To find the nearest hotspot location in your city, please search the WiFi Hotspot Map. Enter your zip code, zoom in on the interactive map to view the results, and click on the locations for details.

We thank you again for your patience as our crews work as quickly and safely as possible. We won’t stop until every customer is back online.

Tuesday, August 6 @ 12:30 p.m.

As Debby brings heavy rain and flooding to Charleston and Savannah, our crews are prepared and ready to assess and repair any damage to our network. We encourage everyone to adhere to any local curfews and remain weather-aware.
