Comcast’s Xfinity WiFi Van Now Stationed in Savannah to Get Community Back Online

WHAT: To help those impacted by Hurricane Idalia stay connected to family and friends, Comcast has deployed its mobile Xfinity WiFi van to Savannah, Georgia. Residents in range of the van will have free internet access.

Earlier this week, Comcast also opened its outdoor Xfinity WiFi hotspot network in storm-impacted areas across Georgia and South Carolina. The hotspots are free to anyone who needs them, including non-Xfinity customers.

WHO: Service from the Xfinity WiFi van is available for Xfinity customers and non-customers alike. The van can accommodate up to 300 users at one time.

WHERE:  5500 Abercorn Street, Suite 45 in Savannah (in front of the Xfinity Store)

WHEN: The Xfinity WiFi van will be available to residents from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and will remain in its location through 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 3rd.
