Comcast Names Mark Fetterolf Vice President of Technical Operations and Engineering
Comcast announced today that Mark Fetterolf has been named Vice President of Technical Operations and Engineering for the company’s ‘Big South’ region. He will be based in Atlanta and report to Jason Gumbs, Regional SVP for Comcast. In his new role, Mr. Fetterolf will lead the end-to-end operations of the region’s fulfillment and communications teams, focusing on implementing strategies to deliver the best customer experience. He will also oversee the region’s network maintenance efforts.
Mr. Fetterolf has 14 years of experience in the telecom industry. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he joined Comcast in 2012 as Director of Technical Operations for the ‘Keystone’ region and was promoted to Area Vice President of Field Operations in 2015.
In 2019, he was promoted to Regional Vice President of Technical Operations for the Greater Boston region where he led top-performing teams and partnered cross-functionally to drive results. Recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer for KCF Technologies where he provided company-wide oversight and strategic guidance.

Mr. Fetterolf earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and has served as a DE&I board member and executive sponsor for Comcast’s VetNet and Women’s Network Employee Resource Groups. An avid traveler, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and participating in outdoor activities. He also volunteers by coaching young professionals and spearheading charity and fundraising initiatives.
