WHAT: Comcast’s Senior Business Technician Kevin McCleary will participate in the Billy Mitchell Boys & Girls Club’s Career Day in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 24th. Mr. McCleary will give a 30-minute presentation to 25 club members about technology related careers at Comcast and the trends regarding consumer consumption of the internet and television.

Background: The event at Billy Mitchell Boys & Girls Club is part of Project UP, Comcast’s 10-year, $1 billion pledge to advance digital equity through programs and community partnerships that connect people to the Internet, advance economic mobility, and open doors for the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, storytellers and creators.
The Billy Mitchell Boys & Girls Club is home to a Wi-Fi-connected Comcast Lift Zone. These zones provide connectivity at community centers and other public facilities allowing students to get online, participate in distance learning and do their homework. The sites also benefit adults, connecting them to online education, job searches, healthcare information and public assistance.
