Comcast’s Xfinity WiFi Van Now Stationed in Tipton County, Tennessee to Get Community Back Online

WHAT: To help those impacted by the recent storm damage stay in touch with family and friends, Comcast has brought its mobile Xfinity WiFi van to Tipton County, Tennessee. Residents who are in range of the van will have free internet access.

Comcast has also opened its outdoor WiFi hotspots throughout many of the impacted areas in West Tennessee. They are free to anyone who needs them, including non-Xfinity customers. More information can be found here.

WHO: The service is available for all residents to use, including non-Xfinity customers.

WHERE: 1 W. Liberty Avenue, Covington

WHEN: The van will be available to customers daily, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HOW: Customers can visit this location and leverage the free service. The van’s WiFi can accommodate up to 300 users at one time.
