Comcast is currently experiencing network outages in Griffin and other parts of Spalding County due to yesterday’s tornado damage that knocked out power to the area. Local power must first be restored before Xfinity video, phone and internet services can be restored. We are working with local officials to bring our services back online as quickly and safely as possible. Comcast must receive clearance that it is safe for our crews to begin any restoration work first, however.
Additionally, a Comcast fiber line was cut due to the storm. Comcast is working around the clock to address this issue.
