Comcast Employees “Stuff the Bus” with School Supplies for Humphries Elementary School in Atlanta

Comcast’s Black Employee Network and Young Professionals Network donate $4,000 in supplies to school, will celebrate at assembly Friday

Two Comcast employee resources groups joined forces to organize a “Stuff the Bus” school supply drive to benefit Humphries Elementary School in Atlanta. The Black Employee Network and Young Professionals Network gathered $4,000 in school supplies via an Amazon Wish List provided by the school. Items included crayons, hand sanitizer and backpacks.

On Friday, August 12 at 1:30 p.m., Comcast employees will participate in an assembly at Humphries Elementary School where the supplies will be presented to students and faculty. The school is located at 3029 Humphries Drive SE in Atlanta.

“Comcast is thrilled to partner with Humphries Elementary to provide vital supplies to help kick-off the school year,” said Jason Gumbs, Comcast Regional SVP in Atlanta. “I am proud of our employee resource groups for organizing the drive and for their service to the local community.”
