Network Outage – Attention Charleston Customers

A contractor was performing excavation this morning on sewer lines in downtown Charleston and inadvertently severed our fiber network. We have crews on site and are working as quickly as possible to restore services to our residential and business customers later today. Those located in the peninsula portion of Charleston – namely the downtown area – are currently impacted. Our customers in Mt. Pleasant, North Charleston, Kiawah Island, James Island and Johns Island are not affected. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing our customers.
