Charleston, SC – March 10, 2021 – Comcast announced today it has launched three new high-speed internet service tiers including one that will deliver speeds faster than one gigabit-per-second to residential and business customers. Comcast now offers the new options to customers in Beaufort, Lady’s Island, Fripp Island, Hunting Island and Harbor Island.
The new internet service offerings include Xfinity Extreme (400 Mbps), Extreme Pro (800 Mbps) and gigabit-speed (1,200 Mbps). These services will be among the fastest and most widely available in the area and include access on-the-go to the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network. Comcast will deliver these super-fast speeds using the existing wiring that most people already have in their homes and businesses.

In addition to residential consumers, small business subscribers will also benefit from fast download speeds. Comcast Business customers will continue to enjoy 300 Mbps, 600 Mbps and gigabit speeds.
