Comcast announced today that it will install its Advanced Communities fiber optic network directly to The Views at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.  The development, which offers 252 luxury apartments and 14,000 square feet of retail, overlooks Coolray Field, home of the Gwinnett Stripers, a triple-A minor league affiliate of the Braves.  Comcast teamed with Brand Properties, a Georgia-based real estate investment company, that is focused on high-end, multi-family properties.

Residents will have access to 1-gigabit speed Internet service, Xfinity Smart Home technology, advanced X1 video service, and in-unit and common area wireless access points.

Today’s news follows Comcast’s recent announcement that it would begin rolling out gigabit-speed internet service to residents and businesses across Gwinnett, Hall, Jackson and Barrow Counties in Georgia, part of a continuing network upgrade.

“We are thrilled to bring our advanced fiber network to The Views at Coolray Field,” said Jason Gumbs, Comcast Regional SVP. “Once our buildout is complete, residents will have access to some of the fastest and most advanced services in the marketplace.”

The Views at Coolray Field is located at 44 Braves Avenue in Lawrenceville, and offers easy access to entertainment options, including the Mall of Georgia. It also provides quick access to major thoroughfares, such as I-85 and I-985.
