ATLANTA – Dec. 16, 2019 – Comcast has appointed two new Vice Presidents to the ‘Big South’ senior leadership team. Led by Regional SVP Jason Gumbs, the team oversees operations across the southeastern United States, primarily in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee.
Dara Leslie, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Dara Leslie has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing in the Big South region. Ms. Leslie has spent over seven years at Comcast as Vice President of Marketing Strategy at the company’s Central Division Headquarters in Atlanta, and another seven years at Atlantic Broadband in Pennsylvania, where she served as Vice President of Care and eventually as General Manager. Earlier in her career, she spent time at Charter Communications as Regional Marketing Director.
Barry Corcoran, Vice President of Finance and Accounting
Barry Corcoran has been named Vice President of Finance and Accounting. With nearly 25 years of cable industry experience, Mr. Corcoran comes to the Big South region from Effectv (formerly Comcast Spotlight), where he served as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Enterprise Business Intelligence for the last two years. In his prior leadership role at Effectv, Mr. Corcoran oversaw financial operations in 31 markets across four regions.
“With a strong focus on collaboration, Dara and Barry bring unique perspectives and a wealth of industry knowledge to their new roles,” said Mr. Gumbs. “I am confident they will be excellent additions to our senior leadership team and look forward to their contributions to the business.”
Both executives will be based at Comcast’s regional headquarters in Norcross, Ga., and report to Mr. Gumbs.
