Atlanta – November 5, 2019: Comcast announced today the November 7th opening of its new Xfinity customer retail store in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Located at 6255 Roswell Road, the 4,200 square-foot facility will offer hands-on access to Comcast’s Internet, Xfinity X1, Xfinity Mobile and digital voice, and Xfinity Home products.
The new location is designed to offer a simpler and more streamlined customer experience. It features multiple service counters staffed by Xfinity sales consultants, interactive iPad product demonstrations, and dedicated areas that showcase Comcast’s suite of products and apps. It also offers an automated payment kiosk to increase the speed of service.
Customers can visit the store to upgrade or swap equipment, ask questions about their Xfinity service or pay a bill at an in-store kiosk. Store associates have extensive training on customer service and deep knowledge of Xfinity products. In-store appointments can be scheduled online on their local store website.
“Our journey to transform the customer experience continues with the opening of our new retail store in Sandy Springs,” said Jason Gumbs, Regional SVP at Comcast. “Today’s news is also part of our larger campaign to open nine new retail centers in greater Atlanta in 2019, bringing our total presence to 18 locations in the marketplace.”
The store will be open for business Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
The new Xfinity retail presence is part of a broader national effort to positively transform how customers do business with Comcast. Nationally, Comcast has made significant improvements to enhance the customer experience, through employee trainings, new customer tools and the reduction of customer wait times. In total, Comcast is creating more than 5,500 customer service jobs in the U.S. to support this mission.
