Comcast Recognizes its Nashville Community Champions

On Nashville Digital Inclusion Day in September 2018, Comcast recognized five Community Champion employees for their dedication to grass roots outreach. Honored at the ceremony were Anthony Brewster, Catherine Ellis, Sabrina Filmore, Theresa Stephenson and Brian Thomas. Each were given five laptops and five opportunity cards to bestow to anyone of their choosing.

Recently, Comcast hosted a ceremony at its Nashville Xfinity store to recognize the Community Champions and the local recipients they selected. Recipients were either current Internet Essentials customers or affiliated with local organizations including 100 Black Men, Big Picture High School, or Boyce Street Church Baccalaureate Program, among others.

Each Community Champion shared information about their chosen recipients, and then awarded them laptops.
