Comcast and Atlanta Braves Fans Try to Set A New Guinness World Record on April 18
Comcast’s Multi-gigabit Network at Suntrust Park Will Power an Attempt for the Most Identical Text Messages in 60 Seconds
WHAT:
Comcast and thousands of Atlanta Braves fans attending the Philadelphia Phillies match up on April 18 will make an official attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the “Most identical text messages sent in one minute”.
The attempt, which will take place during the game’s third inning, will highlight the speed and capacity of Comcast’s all-fiber multi-gigabit network at SunTrust Park and The Battery Atlanta, which includes two 100 Gbps Ethernet lines, 800 Wi-Fi access points in the park and 320 additional access points across the entire 60-acre mixed-use complex.
WHO:
Any fan with mobile device who attends the Atlanta Braves game at SunTrust Park on April 18 will have the opportunity to participate in breaking the Guinness World Record during the third inning. Fans will be given special commemorative tickets at the gate, with instructions on how to participate.
