A Note to our Comcast Customers in Georgia and South Carolina

We hope you have remained safe during Hurricane Irma.

Comcast has begun restoring service to residential and business customers in impacted coastal communities across Georgia and South Carolina. We have hundreds of technicians and contractors on-site, and many other employees who have traveled across several states to support the effort. We have also positioned ourselves alongside the local power companies in joint command centers so we are aligned with their restoration plans.

Many of the impacted areas have no power, and access is quite limited, so we’re working extra hard to support these areas. Once power is restored, our technicians will visit each area to assess any damage, and will begin work to get services up and running again. In addition, our Xfinity customer service centers are beginning to reopen as power returns, including those in Savannah and Charleston.

Meantime, we have opened XFINITY WiFi hotspots to help residents and emergency personnel. In addition, XFINITY TV customers can use Stream TV or the XFINITY Stream app to watch live news, TV and sports, plus On Demand.

For outage-related questions, Comcast has a variety of 24/7 customer support options including 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489), online at www.xfinity.com/support, via the My Account app and on Twitter @ComcastCares.

We will continue to update customers on additional progress via our website, south.comcast.com, and on Twitter @Comcastsouth. Thank you.
