Tech Hill Commons will House Nashville Technology Council’s Headquarters and Serve the Local Innovation and Technology Community, Powered by Comcast’s Gigabit Technology
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 29, 2016) – Comcast and the Nashville Technology Council (NTC) have announced a new gigabit-powered facility designed to foster innovation, promote business, and develop students and tech professionals in Nashville. Tech Hill Commons will be a public gathering place for the city’s diverse community of tech leaders, business builders, user groups, students and tech educators, and will also represent the new headquarters of the Nashville Technology Council.
In addition to collaborating with the Nashville Technology Council to create Tech Hill Commons, Comcast will provide a dedicated multi-gigabit broadband connection to the facility that will support high speed data, advanced telephone and expansive video services. Comcast is also a co-investor in the project.
Tech Hill Commons is a hub where Nashville’s tech community can come together, innovate, and grow. Located in the Nolensville Corridor at 500 Interstate Boulevard South, the new home of the NTC is set to open in early 2017. The facility will consist of more than 9,500 square feet of space, including NTC’s new offices, a 150-person event room, a social meeting area and conference rooms with cutting-edge technology.
The NTC invites Middle Tennessee’s tech community to take advantage of Tech Hill Commons to host launch events, community hackathons, tech user groups and developer meet-ups. The commons is an ideal space for professional development and student tech-enrichment programming.
