New facility is latest milestone in Comcast’s customer experience transformation
Tuscaloosa, Ala. – November 16, 2016: Comcast announced today it will open a new Xfinity customer retail store in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The 4,500-square-foot facility is located at 1451 Dr. Edward Hillard Drive and will offer hands-on access to Comcast’s Internet, X1, digital voice and Xfinity Home products.
The new retail center is the first of its kind to be added in Tuscaloosa, and is part of a broader national effort to positively transform how customers do business with Comcast.
“Our customer experience transformation continues with the addition of this new Xfinity store in Tuscaloosa,” said Vic Pascarelli, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Comcast. “We look forward to bringing an enhanced level of service to our customers, and believe this is another important step toward delivering a great experience.”
The new location features eight service counters staffed by Xfinity sales consultants, interactive iPad product demonstrations, and dedicated areas that showcase Comcast’s suite of products and apps. It also offers an automated payment kiosk to increase convenience and speed of service.
The Xfinity customer retail store opens Saturday, November 19. It will be open for business Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
