Comcast Announces Grand Opening of Newly Redesigned Xfinity Customer Center in Little Rock

Improvements part of national effort to transform the customer experience

Little Rock, AR – December 8, 2015 – Comcast announced today the grand opening of its newly updated Xfinity Customer Center in Little Rock. The nearly 2,000-square-foot store at 2714 South Shackleford Road now offers customers an interactive way to experience products and services, such as the X1 video platform and Xfinity Home.

The location takes the customer experience to the next level, offering nine service counters, an iPad ‘bar’ with interactive demonstrations, and dedicated stations that showcase Comcast’s many products and apps. It also offers customer payment kiosks and on-site staff that can facilitate equipment transactions.

“Today’s news speaks to our larger effort to enhance the service experience for our customers in Little Rock and across the country,” said Doug Guthrie, Regional SVP for Comcast’s South Region. “We are pleased to make these important improvements, and look forward to serving our customers at this newly modernized location.”

Earlier this year, Comcast announced a nationwide plan to reinvent the customer experience and create a culture focused on exceeding customers’ expectations, at all levels of the company. The core elements of the strategic plan include:

  • Investing in technology and training to give employees the tools they need to deliver excellent service
  • Simplifying billing and creating better policies to provide greater consistency and transparency to customers.

Comcast has renovated or built 128 new stores across the country to date and plans to reach all of its service locations in the next few years.
