Comcast to Make Donation to Atlanta BeltLine at Grand Opening of New Midtown Xfinity Customer Center

Georgia Senator Brandon Beach, Atlanta BeltLine executives and community leaders to attend ribbon-cutting ceremony

WHO: Comcast leaders will welcome Georgia Senator Brandon Beach, executives from the Atlanta BeltLine and a host of community leaders at its grand opening ceremony for the company’s new midtown location.

The Atlanta BeltLine is the most comprehensive transportation and economic development effort ever undertaken in the City of Atlanta and among the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment programs currently underway in the United States. The Atlanta BeltLine is a sustainable redevelopment project that will provide a network of public parks, multi-use trails and transit along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor circling downtown and connecting many neighborhoods directly to each other.

WHAT: Comcast SVP Doug Guthrie and VP of External Affairs Andy Macke will announce a financial contribution to the Atlanta BeltLine as part of the Sept. 17 grand opening event. Senator Beach and an executive from Atlanta BeltLine will also make remarks.
