Comcast Hosts VIP Minions Screening For Local Non-Profit Partners In Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 10, 2015) – Last night, Comcast hosted a one-of-a-kind VIP advanced screening of  Comcast NBC Universal’s “Minions” for Comcast’s non-profit and community partners in Nashville. The event was attended by more than 150 special guests from organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, Urban League of Middle Tennessee, Teach for America of Greater Nashville and the PENCIL foundation.

In addition to the movie, guests were treated to free concessions and received minions T-shirts and other fun give-away items.

“We want to thank Comcast for providing this exciting opportunity for our volunteers and children,” said Sarah Beatty, Director of Events and Communications at Big Brothers Big Sisters. “Our ‘Bigs’ and ‘Littles’ enjoyed being the first to see Minions while getting to spend time with each other.”

“I cannot begin to express the excitement of the dozens of Boys and Girls Club children who were invited to attend this exclusive screening of Minions,” said Kimberly Schoetzow, Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator of Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. “We are grateful to Comcast for providing this special moment for these deserving children.”
