Arkansas Governor Awards Comcast With KARK Community Service Award

LITTLE ROCK, AR – June 16, 2015 – On Friday, June 12, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Hutchinson awarded Comcast with the 2015 KARK Large Corporate Humanitarian Award for outstanding community service to the Central Arkansas community.

The Arkansas Community Service Awards recognize individuals and businesses for their dedication and commitment to supporting volunteerism throughout Arkansas. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Arkansas nominated Comcast for its community support through programs such as Leaders and Achievers, Internet Essentials and Comcast Cares Day.

Comcast empowers communities by investing in local organizations, developing programs and partnerships, and mobilizing resources to connect people and inspire positive and substantive change. Comcast has been nominated for the Arkansas Humanitarian award three times over the history of the awards.
