Comcast and Governor Hutchinson To Honor Top Arkansas High School Seniors At State Capitol April 14

Comcast Foundation’s Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship winners to gather in Little Rock
 for celebration of outstanding community service, leadership and academic achievement

WHAT: Arkansas high school seniors, recipients of a 2015 “Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship, will be recognized April 14 by Comcast and Governor Asa Hutchinson at the State Capitol.  Students are nominated by their high school principals or guidance counselors and are recognized with a one-time scholarship grant of $1,000 from the Comcast Foundation for their pursuit of higher education. This year, 11 Arkansas high school seniors are receiving a scholarship.

The 2015 Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program, one of the Comcast Foundation’s signature community investment programs, recognizes students who have demonstrated leadership skills, academic achievement and a commitment to community service. The Comcast Foundation was founded in 1999 to provide charitable support to its local communities and to empower and enrich lives.
