Comcast To Open First Xfinity Customer Center In Nashville
New location designed to meet the growing consumer need for advanced entertainment and home security services
Nashville, TN (Oct. 9, 2014) – Comcast is enhancing its local presence in Nashville with a new Xfinity Customer Center, which opens October 15. The 4,800-square foot space at 2400 Franklin Pike in downtown Nashville (corner of Franklin Pike and Craighead Street) is the first of Xfinity’s newly designed locations that have opened in the area.
The storefront is built to provide an interactive way for customers to experience products and services, such as the X1 platform and the Xfinity Home suite of products. It also offers customers a place to pay bills or address equipment needs. The location will feature 12 service counters, iPads with interactive product demonstrations, and dedicated areas that showcase our advanced suite of products and apps.
“Comcast continues to invest in Nashville, both by growing its employee base and working to enhance the customer experience in a very visible way,” said Nashville Mayor Karl Dean. “We are excited that Nashville enjoys a reputation as a technology forward city, and we are proud to have Comcast as a community partner.”
Comcast plans to open a second location in Murfreesboro by the end of 2014, and an additional location in greater Nashville in 2015. The new store will be open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“As one of Nashville’s largest employers, we are thrilled to deliver a state-of-the-art service center that will truly benefit our customers for years to come,” said Comcast Regional SVP Doug Guthrie. “This is the latest step we have taken to enhance the customer experience while continuing to grow our presence in Nashville.”
