Comcast recently partnered with Discovery Communications’ U.S. Hispanic networks, Discovery Familia and Discovery en Español, to bring Destino Discovery, a fun-filled and family-friendly activity area, to the Nashville Cultural Festival. Comcast was the presenting media sponsor of this year’s festival.
Destino Discovery (in English “Destination Discovery”) gave festival visitors the opportunity to experience the bold and magnetic attributes of Discovery en Español and Discovery Familia through fun, authentic and family-friendly on-site experiences at three festival tents. As part of the experience, attendees created their own serenity bath soak bags while kids met with DOKI, Discovery Familia’s popular animated character.
Discovery en Español fans also took photos in a green screen booth selecting from their choice of show backgrounds including TEXAS TROCAS, the new docu-reality series that introduces the Mendez family, a group of successful and talented Mexican-Americans from San Antonio with an expertise in transforming average rigs to works of art. Destino Discovery also featured a bounce house, free giveaways and more for festival attendees to enjoy.
The Nashville Cultural Festival is a free event featuring a variety of dance and music performances, food vendors, hands-on children’s activities, an area just for teens, a marketplace, and so much more!
