Comcast Welcomes Tony Dungy, Jeff Foxworthy And Others To Support All Pro Dad LIVE

Celebrity Dads Teach Importance of Investing in Children to 3,000 Area Fathers

Football legend Tony Dungy, comedian Jeff Foxworthy, Georgia football coach Mark Richt and several others recently spoke at the first-ever All Pro Dad LIVE, sponsored in part by Comcast. The event, which Comcast supported via public service announcements, took place at the Long Forum in Norcross, Ga., on Aug. 23. Speaking to an audience of about 3,000 Atlanta-area dads, the speakers highlighted ways to be a better parent and husband.

“I guarantee you the other gentlemen speaking will agree that being a father is not easy, but it’s the most important thing we as fathers will ever do,” said Dungy. “It’s more important than winning championships on the field. It’s about winning championships in the home.”

Tony Dungy, former head coach of the Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts and current NBC analyst on Football Night in America, shared his personal journey as a football coach and father of nine children for more than 28 years. Jeff Foxworthy, comedian in the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, author and current host of American Bible Challenge, has been a father for 22 years with two daughters.

All Pro Dad is an innovative non-profit that helps fathers get passionate about their family life. It has served fathers for more than 17 years by providing needed resources to parents everywhere to teach their children and give them a hopeful future.

“Comcast is proud to have welcomed Tony Dungy, Jeff Foxworthy, Mark Richt and the rest of the team from All Pro Dad LIVE for such an important cause,” said Comcast Regional SVP Doug Guthrie. “We hope that our support goes a long way toward helping this program achieve its mission in Atlanta and across the state.”
