COMCAST PROVIDES UPDATE ON RESTORATION EFFORTS IN LAPLACE, LOUISIANA

LaPlace, LA – September 19, 2021 – Comcast has been working around the clock to support restoration efforts since Hurricane Ida devastated LaPlace. As a reminder, emergency management procedures dictate that power must be restored first and Comcast must receive clearance that it is safe for our crews to begin restoration work.

Currently, we are working to bring Xfinity services back to our customers residing near these intersections by the following dates:

  • Airline Hwy. and Belle Pointe Blvd. (on or before Sept. 25)
  • Lee Dr. and Natchez Ln. (on or before Sept. 25)
  • Airline Hwy. and Magnolia St. (on or before Sept. 25)
  • Airline Hwy. and Kimball Dr. (on or before Sept. 25
  • Alma St. and Gaynell Dr. (on or before Sept. 25)
  • Airline Hwy. and Jacob Dr. (on or before Sept. 25)
  • Great River Rd. and Hwy. 639 (on or before Sept. 26)
  • 628 and Azalea Dr. (on or before Sept. 27)
  • Sherman Walker Ave. and Daisy St. (on or before Sept. 28)
  • Airline Hwy. and Tornado Aly. (on or before Sept. 28)

It’s important to note that there may be some instances where access to the customer’s home is compromised, or the equipment in a particular home is damaged.  We will need to address these situations on an individual basis.
