Comcast Tees Up Support for Mississippi’s Children, Raising $253,000 for Children’s of Mississippi
On October 27, 2025, more than 400 golfers came together across four premier Mississippi golf courses to support a cause close to many hearts: the health and joy of Mississippi’s children. The 32nd Annual Friends of Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament, presented by Comcast, raised a record-breaking $253,000 for Children’s of Mississippi, reinforcing the power of community partnerships.
As the presenting and returning Title Sponsor, Comcast played a leading role in this year’s success. The company’s commitment to community connection and expanding access to digital resources is deeply aligned with the mission of Friends of Children’s Hospital, reinforcing Comcast’s dedication to supporting organizations that uplift and strengthen local families.
Since its inception in 1993, this tournament has been a cornerstone fundraiser for the Child Life Services program at Children’s of Mississippi, helping pediatric patients navigate the challenges of hospitalization through therapeutic play, education, and emotional support. With over $3.65 million raised to date, the event continues to transform hospital stays into more hopeful experiences for young patients.
