Atlanta nonprofit focused on closing the digital divide welcomes Mike McArdle, Regional SVP, Comcast Big South, as Executive Board member

Mike McArdle, Regional SVP of Comcast’s Big South Region, has joined the Executive Board of Inspiredu, an Atlanta nonprofit focused on closing the digital divide.

Impact in Comcast’s Southern Region

Mike leads Comcast’s operations across seven states and has championed initiatives like Lift Zones, which provide free WiFi in community spaces. His appointment reflects Comcast’s ongoing investment in digital access and community partnerships in Atlanta.

“I’m honored to be appointed to Inspiredu’s Executive Board and support its mission to bridge gaps in digital literacy and access for marginalized communities”, said McArdle. “Their work equips individuals with the tools and skills needed to thrive in today’s connected world.”

In 2024, under Mike’s leadership, the region generated more than $5 billion in revenue and added over 190,000 new passings. These efforts support Comcast’s mission to expand digital access. Mike has led initiatives such as Comcast Lift Zones, which help students and families connect to technology and build digital skills.
