Christine Whitaker Inducted into Cable TV Pioneers Class of 2025 

Christine Whitaker, President of Comcast’s Central Division, has been named one of the 33 distinguished inductees into the Cable TV Pioneers Class of 2025. This honor recognizes her decades-long commitment to innovation, leadership, and excellence in the cable television industry. 

With over 25 years of experience, Whitaker has held several transformative roles across major cable organizations. She currently leads Comcast’s Central Division, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, overseeing operations that serve more than 20 million customers across 12 states. Her leadership has been instrumental in expanding gigabit Internet access, deploying AI-driven customer support systems, and championing bold initiatives. 

Before her current role, Whitaker served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration for Comcast’s Northeast Division, and earlier as SVP of the Keystone Region. Her tenure at Time Warner Cable as Group Vice President and Chief Learning Officer saw her spearheading employee development programs for over 55,000 staff. 

Her contributions have earned her numerous recognitions, including being named as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Cable” by CableFax Magazine and a “Wonder Woman” by Multichannel News.

This year’s inductees represent a diverse group of accomplished professionals across broadband, media, content creation, technology, distribution, and related sectors. Every inductee has played a pivotal role in advancing the cable industry’s growth and success. 

Whitaker and five fellow Comcast leaders were honored at the 59th Annual Banquet in Washington, D.C., on September 28, 2025.
