Atlanta, Ga. (May 8, 2018) – Comcast announced today that Elianna Carlton has been named Regional Vice President of Human Resources. She will be based in Norcross, Ga., and report to Doug Guthrie, Regional SVP for Comcast. In her new role, she will oversee all Human Resources activities across the company’s southeast region.
With more than 15 years of experience, Ms. Carlton has spent the majority of her career at Comcast. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Employee Relations and Engagement at the company’s Central Division headquarters in Atlanta. While there, she supported approximately 10,000 employees in nine states spanning multiple functions.
She also spent nearly 12 years at Comcast in Florida and Georgia, serving in a variety of Human Resources leadership roles.
“Elianna brings to Comcast an excellent track record in supporting the ever-changing needs of our business,” said Mr. Guthrie. “With her unique background and skill set, I am confident that she will make significant and immediate contributions.”
Ms. Carlton earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Florida, and has two Master’s degrees from NOVA Southeastern University. She is a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and holds a membership chair on UNIDOS, the company’s employee resource group that serves as a tool for empowering Hispanic professionals within Comcast.
