ATLANTA – September 21, 2017:  Comcast announced today the official opening of its new Xfinity customer retail store at The Battery Atlanta, next to SunTrust Park.  The 8,155 square-foot facility is located at 945 Battery Avenue SE, and will offer hands-on access to Comcast’s Internet, Xfinity X1, Xfinity Mobile and digital voice, and Xfinity Home products.

Comcast will host a special customer appreciation event at the new retail center on Saturday, September 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will feature a public meet-and-greet with Atlanta Hawks star Kent Bazemore, and former Atlanta Braves players Chris Chambliss and Tim Hudson.

The new location features multiple service counters staffed by Xfinity sales consultants, interactive iPad product demonstrations, and dedicated areas that showcase Comcast’s suite of products and apps. It also offers an automated payment kiosk to increase speed of service. The facility also has a designated space for customer focus groups, designed to assist Comcast in supporting an enhanced customer experience.

Comcast provides video, voice and high-speed Internet connectivity throughout SunTrust Park, as well as to the surrounding retail shops, restaurants, office tower, hotel, entertainment venue and residential units. The complex is considered to be the most technologically advanced in the nation. The development’s all-fiber network delivers multi-gigabit speeds throughout the 60-acre complex, and visitors can leverage any of the nearly 1,100 Wi-Fi access points for a seamless high-speed online experience.

In addition, Comcast will soon open its doors as the signature tenant in a multi-story office building within the development that will house more than 1,000 employees.

The new Xfinity retail store is open for business Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
