On Friday, April 21, at Comcast’s signature ‘Comcast Cares Day’ project in Franklin, Tenn., more than 35 Comcast volunteers and community partners helped build two homes for deserving Habitat for Humanity families in the downtown Franklin area. From the ground up, Comcast Cares Day volunteers built wall sidings, installed window trim and flashing for the front porch, and caulked the interior walls.
Comcast Cares Day, which takes place each April during National Volunteer Month, is Comcast NBCUniversal’s companywide celebration of their year-round commitment to service and the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer effort in the country.
