On Tuesday, November 4, the C-SPAN Bus visited Parkview High Magnet School, where approximately 150 students and teachers from media, political science and journalism classes toured the bus and learned about educational resources they can use in the classroom. They met Comcast representatives Mike Wilson and Evangeline Parker-Guest, and learned about the relationship between their local cable company and C-SPAN. Principal Dexter Booth, students and teachers thanked Comcast for selecting their school for the visit.
The Bus also stopped at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where 100 students, faculty and staff took a tour. In addition to experiencing the technology and available educational resources, attendees learned about various C-SPAN internship opportunities.
