150 Volunteers to Attend Comcast Cares Day Project on April 21
WHAT: Comcast Cares Day, which takes place each April during National Volunteer Month, is Comcast NBCUniversal’s companywide celebration of their year-round commitment to service and the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer effort in the country.
On Saturday, April 21, Comcast’s signature Comcast Cares Day event in East Tennessee will bring over 150 volunteers, elected officials, and community partners to Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy.
Volunteers will be doing general landscaping and maintenance around the school’s flower beds, preparing the grounds for a rock garden, installing bird feeders and painting bathrooms.
