Comcast South Updates Customers on Impact of Winter Storm Inga

As snow continues to fall and temperatures are dropping, Winter Storm Inga has caused hazardous conditions in several markets across our footprint. The safety of our employees and customers is our top priority.

  • Comcast will not perform service appointments or installations today, January 16, in Greater Nashville, Greater Memphis, Little Rock, Shreveport, Monroe and our north Alabama markets due to adverse weather.
  • Afternoon and evening appointments in Hattiesburg and Jackson, Miss., will be rescheduled. Impacted customers will be notified.
  • In addition, our Xfinity retail centers in Nashville, Little Rock, Shreveport, Memphis, Tupelo, Corinth, Florence and Monroe will be closed for the remainder of the day.

Customers located in those impacted areas may also experience a loss or interruption of their Xfinity service due to the severe weather. Comcast’s goal is to restore any services impacted as soon as it is safe for our employees to do so.

We are encouraging customers to get outage updates for their area and information about their Xfinity service by visiting My Account located at www.xfinity.com/MyAccount or using the My Account app from any secure, Internet-enabled mobile device. Customers can always call us at 1-800-Xfinity. For severe weather service and safety tips, please visit Storm Ready.

We thank our customers for their understanding during this time.
