As Memphis Light Gas and Water (MLGW) brings power back to its customers across greater Memphis, Comcast is working closely with them to restore our Xfinity services as well.
Often times, our services restore automatically when power returns to a given area. In some instances, an individual trouble call by Comcast may be required.
The severe storms have impacted our physical plant in several hundred locations. Repairs are needed but we can only begin restorations after MLGW has completed its necessary work.
We have brought in dozens of employees from other Comcast regions to assist in this effort, and are working diligently to restore services as quickly as possible. We appreciate our customers’ patience throughout this process.
