Upgraded retail location part of a national effort to enhance the customer experience
SAVANNAH, GA – November 17, 2015 – Comcast announced today the grand opening of its new Xfinity Customer Center in Hinesville, Ga. The newly upgraded, 3,298-square-foot store at 1050 Kacey Drive now offers customers an interactive way to experience products and services, such as the X1 platform and Xfinity Home.
The location features nine service counters, an iPad ‘bar’ with interactive product demonstrations, and dedicated areas that showcase Comcast’s suite of products and apps. It also offers customer payment kiosks and on-site staff that can facilitate equipment transactions.
Comcast has added six new Xfinity locations across Georgia in the last three years, including one in downtown Savannah earlier this year. The aggressive retail campaign is part of a broader national effort to transform the customer experience.
“Today’s announcement speaks to our larger effort to completely transform how customers do business with Comcast,” said Doug Guthrie, Regional SVP for Comcast’s South Region. “We are pleased to make these important improvements to our Xfinity Customer Center, and look forward to introducing even more locations in Georgia next year.”
The Xfinity Customer Center is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
