Atlanta, Ga., Jan. 12, 2015 — Comcast has named Cleveland ‘Cleve’ Lewis Vice President of Business Services, reporting directly to Regional SVP Doug Guthrie. Mr. Lewis will be based in Atlanta and oversee the continued expansion of Comcast Business in the company’s south region. He will lead his group’s operational, marketing and sales efforts, and will seek to build on Comcast Business’ strong momentum from 2014, which included the launch of Metro Ethernet services in Knoxville, Tenn., and the continued expansion of the company’s 10-gigabit network across greater Atlanta.
“Cleve brings to Comcast a strong background in strategic sales and leadership development, which made him the perfect addition to my executive team,” said Guthrie. “He will focus on further establishing Comcast Business as the top provider of flexible and scalable solutions to businesses of all sizes across our service area.”
With more than 20 years of experience in regional and executive sales management, Mr. Lewis has been highly successful at developing direct sales teams and identifying alternative channels for strong business growth.
Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales for Pax8, a privately held start-up Cloud distributor. At Pax8, he developed sales strategies and designed detailed acquisition models and training programs for the company’s initial go-to-market plan. He currently serves on the company’s Board of Directors.
He also served as Vice President of Sales for Cbeyond in Atlanta. In this role, he was responsible for sales operations across 14 U.S. markets, and led the company’s national sales team that provided Cloud, network, mobile, voice, and data services for small- and mid-sized businesses.
Mr. Lewis has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Brandeis University.
