In honor of Comcast Cares day, volunteers were at Pooler Elementary School and the Boys and Girls Club on Saturday, for two local projects to help beautify the grounds.

Volunteers worked to landscape the grounds, paint and refurbish play areas at Pooler Elementary and at the the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club. Volunteers helped beautify both the inside and outside of the facility through projects such as painting, landscaping and more.

“Really, today is all about mobilizing volunteers to make change happen in our communities, and we are just really happy to be partnering with Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club. They do such a magnificent job in the community, serving the boys and girls of Savannah, and we want to help be a part of that,” said Shannon Dulin, Comcast Cares.

Comcast has been doing Comcast Cares projects since 2001, and since then, more than a half a million volunteers have three million hours of service to the community.
